VRML - X3D - Java3D - MPEG4 - and more
The annual Web3D Symposium is a major event in the Web3D community. This
conference unites researchers, developers, experimenters, content creators
and others in a dynamic learning environment. Attendees share and explore
methods of using, enhancing or creating new 3D web technology such as VRML,
X3D, Java3D and MPEG-4.
Web3D 2001 is held at the Heinz Nixdorf Museums Forum Paderborn/D, the
world's largest computer museum.
Exhibition
The Web 3D exhibition showcases leading edge Web 3D technologies. Entrance
is free for conference participants and full-time students and only 25,- DM
for vistors.
The exhibition will be open from 20. to 22. February. Exhibitors will also
present their products in talks on the German 3D E-Commerce Day (in German)
and the Web 3D Commercial Track.
Student Volunteers
Student volunteers form an essential part of the Web3D conference support
staff.If you want to apply as a student volunteer for Web 3D 2001 please
